Situated at the end of a secluded country lane, Hegdale Barn sits tucked away. The beautifully presented converted barn is where your holiday begins.

This cosy self-catering holiday cottage in Kent has an open aspect giving it a real feeling of light and space. There's a contemporary style throughout the home, complete with a highly equipped kitchen and bathroom.

Take a seat on the quaint garden arbour bench at the end of your garden to read a good book or plan your next day's itinerary. You may be joined by the resident chickens who enjoy the company. Later retreat to your open plan dining/sitting room and sink into the comfortable sofa bed or tuck into some home-cooked delights at the dining table which easily seats five people. The welcoming bedroom of this Kent holiday cottage has been thoughtfully furnished with a king size bed (can be configured into twin beds, please request at time of booking). A sofa bed in the sitting room sleeps an extra two guests and there is an additional Z-bed available.

Surrounded by various walking routes this is the ideal base for a peaceful and quiet country getaway during the summer or winter months. The perfect place for a rural retreat.

A short drive away you can find pubs: Halfway House in Challock, The Flying Horse and The Plough Inn, Stalisfield. The nearest train station to the property is located in the village of Wye. The historic and thriving villages of Charing, Lenham, Wye and Chilham are also nearby.

Hegdale Barn: sleeps 2 + 2 in 1 double bedroom with king size bed (can be twin) and 1 sofa bed in the sitting room. Open plan sitting/dining room with kitchen seating 6. Private garden with table and chair seating 4+1, BBQ. Parking is available next to the barn, with space for two cars.

The accommodation is all on one level.

Kitchen with fridge freezer, hob & oven, dishwasher, washing machine. There is seating for 4 + 1 (highchair available on request).

Bathroom, shower, bath, basin, WC.

Double bedroom with large king zip bed (sleeps 2), 5'6" wide, (can be configured into twin beds if requested), built-in wardrobe. A travel cot can be provided for another child and/or baby. (An additional single bed for a child can be added to this room, on request).
