About Woodhouse

Woodhouse is such a unique find, an immaculately designed 2 storey detached family country home in Woodchurch. Furnished in a contemporary style with oak wood cladding, offering a light modern décor, the addition of handpicked art objects combined with a warm atmosphere are the ingredients to make you feel welcome at this home as soon as you arrive.

Surrounded by lush Kent countryside, offering an extensive garden that hugs the house, a real tree house for the children will make this holiday home the place to be during summer.

The open plan conservatory dining room offers you and your family the best seat in the house admiring the garden, it's terrace and the surrounding green fields. During glorious summer months you can enjoy a glass of wine or a BBQ on the south facing terrace or on the private balcony on the first floor.

During cooler times of the year, an internal dual aspect log burner in both the cosy snug and the open plan sitting room make it the ideal spot for a glass of your favourite wine and delving into a good book. Pure Heaven!

The owners have taken great care in creating a special home that is immaculately presented, blending contemporary art, tactile interior touches and using natural materials like solid oak wood cladding, flagstone tiles, ceramics and marble.

Upstairs you have the choice of three gorgeous double bedrooms, one triple room and three luxurious bathrooms.

And if you can pull yourself away from this wonderful Tenterden country home, why not explore the surrounding area which has so much to offer, from vineyards, gardens, quaint Kent villages, rare breeds centre, cycle tours, walking routes and so much more....

What makes this area
So special...

On the edge of Romney Marsh there are wonderful walks along the canals and on the Saxon Way. Cycling is also a must as its reasonably flat with quiet country lanes and big skies, you could even cycle to the sandy beaches of this part of Kent if you are feeling energetic. Nearby Tenterden is a charming market town and the famous Chapel Down Vineyard, open for both tours and tasting is just a few miles away. Tenterden also has its own steam train that follows a wonderful scenic route to moated Bodiam Castle. Gastro pubs abound and the fish as you head towards the coast is excellent both from fishermen on the beach and from the many restaurants that are dotted throughout the area.
