This charming cottage is on the outskirts of the lovely village of Benenden set in the heart of the Kent countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty in Kent. With two pubs a village shop and a butchers, you may not ever need to leave! This holiday cottage is a converted barn style and is ideally situated to explore this beautiful area, near to Benenden School. Furnished to a very high standard this pretty holiday cottage is light and spacious offering a good standard of self catering holiday accommodation.

The kitchen has all the utensils and pans etc you could need for a short stay and the bed is comfy and snug with a great en suite shower room. The owners are friendly and approachable and as the barn is located near to their house they are on hand should you have any issues. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it."

What makes this area
So special...

Great location for exploring the stunning Weald of Kent and yet with two popular pubs and a quintessential English cricket green, you may not choose to leave Benenden village at all! Sissinghurst Castle and Scotney Castle are both close by and for some wonderful shopping head to Tunbridge Wells where there is a great range of independent shops and the charming Pantiles to explore. There are several vineyards and cider farms nearby where you can take a tour or just have a tasting.

Freshwater Barn: sleeps 4 in double bedroom with double bed (sleeps 2) with en-suite shower room, kitchen, open plan living area with sofa bed (sleeps 2), hall, cloakroom with WC.

The front door leads into a spacious hall ideal for storing coats and boots.

Open-plan living space with a two seater sofa-bed, the dining area seats four, there is a flatscreen TV, DVD (with selection of DVD's) and Freeview 

The modern newly fitted kitchen area is fully-equipped with washing machine, fridge, microwave, large range style gas cooker and extractor fan, the owner has even provided some cookery books 

Outside

Outside there is a private terrace area with table, parasol, bench which is screened from the owners main house.
