"My stay at the Cottage at Roundel Barn was excellent! Beautifully decorated and presented and equipped way beyond expectations. Comfortable, cosy, homely and welcoming - what more do you want! In addition to the accommodation though then owners are most definitely the cherries on the cake! They could not do more to make your stay wonderful, lovely, interesting people who make you feel like old friends not transient guests. All in all a marvellous holiday experience never to be forgotten - for all the right reasons!"

"We have just returned from a week in the Roundel Barn and cannot recommend it highly enough. The barn is simply gorgeous and really cosy, especially with the wood burner glowing. It is spotlessly clean with some lovely personal touches. The view as you sit and eat breakfast and dinner is simply stunning over looking the fields and rolling downs with Pips vintage tractor adding to the scene. The owners Kathy and Pip are two of the most friendly and generous people you could ever wish to meet and you will leave with two new friends. We will definitely return"

Kathy & Paul, September 2013

"We've had a lovely week and have managed to do most of the things we planned. Many beautiful gardens to visit, Great Dixter was our particular favourite. The big bonus was the barn accommodation and the location."

"What an amazing week we have had. Everything has been perfect, including the weather. After leaving our hectic life behind at home, we immediately relaxed as we sat outside the beautiful barn taking in the scenery, all the little special touches made all the difference, never been made to feel so welcome. Would love to come back and visit all the places we didn’t have time to visit before."

Karen & Stewart Tremble June 2012

"Our stay at Roundal Barn in Wittersham was amazing. From the owners, to the Barn and the scenery. No complaints at all. We enjoyed every minute and will go again. Being able to relax was an important factor for us and we were able to here, thank you."

"The owners are the most gracious hosts you could wish to have. The cottage is fantastic and the pictures don't do it justice. Well equipped and in a great location - it is a little treasure on the Kent Sussex border. We will most certainly be coming back."

David Hennessy

"Probably the best cottage we have stayed in, particularly the attention to detail. The owners are two of the most welcoming people you could meet . We can't wait to return."

Jim & Sue Tennant, Oct 2011

"We have just returned from a one weeks stay at Roundel Barn and what a fabulous time we had. Having stayed at many places over the years (both in the UK and worldwide), we can honestly say that this was one of the best holidays we have ever had. The barn is simply beautiful; the locations is gorgeous, overlooking open fields and the owners are the most lovely people we have ever met. There is everything you could want for in the barn and more. A lovely, huge, comfortable bed and everything in the barn is brand spanking new and of a high quality. The attention to detail is second to none. We would, (and have), strongly recommended this place to friends and family. There is so much to do locally. To fit everything in we were seeing different attractions/ locations/ sights in the morning and afternoon. The barn felt like 'home from home' and we did not want to leave. The owners Kath and Pip are simply lovely, so hospitable and kind. They have a gorgeous house next door and we can not thank them enough for their part in making our holiday very special. Book now - you will be very pleased you did!"

L Ryder, August 2011

"My husband and I stayed at Roundel Barn for a few days over Easter. We were looking for a relaxing break from the City and couldn't have found a more perfect place. The barn has absolutely everthing you need - from a woodburning fire to a bbq. The owners were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We are already planning our next trip."

"I am the first guest. And I felt highly appreciated by the lovely, warm and welcoming owners. What a lovely couple. And what a lovely house, too! So many thoughts and so much TLC has been put into it, you can tell ,,, and feel. Did I mention the idylilic setting and the view? To die for!"
