About The Hive

"A couples' retreat, eco-friendly and with shared use of an indoor pool, it is beautifully designed with an open-plan living space making the most of its huge sliding glass doors to the garden. Contemporary furnishings, a log burner, stylish kitchen, exposed beams and retro lighting are the stars of the show and little touches like the well-stocked honesty bar make it really special." - Kent Life (April, 2017)

Awaken your senses at The Hive - one of our most popular holiday homes in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Beautifully designed space with an eye for detail, bee keeping and nature in mind, inviting the sunlight in through wall to ceiling windows. Complete with contemporary furniture, pieces of art, industrial retro lights, a log burner and soft rugs. What makes the eco-friendly house even more appealing is the low carbon footprint, a log burner using recycled wood and bricks, eco-friendly paint and underfloor heating, all attributes of a home to aspire to.

So wake up, slide the doors open wide, listen to birdsong while sipping your coffee on the terrace overlooking the extensive garden. Enjoy any meal with the doors open, bring the outside in. Go on long country walks with or without your dog, followed by a dip in the pool (in summer) or warm yourself by the wood burning stove in cooler times. And then the icing on the cake.... indulge with a drink from the fantastic honesty bar. What a great idea.
