About Oast Barn Cottage

Oast Barn Cottage is a charming 300 year old cottage, attached to the owners original hop barn. Lovingly restored the cottage creates a romantic one bedroomed cottage, with a pretty garden. Retaining its original features, this cosy property is set in a quiet, peaceful, rural location and yet close to lots of fascinating places to visit such as the market Town of Faversham, the world heritage site of Canterbury, and the famous oyster fishing town of Whitstable. Walkers and cyclists will also be spoilt for choice with the rolling countryside and orchards of this delightful part of the Garden of England.

The traditional wooden floorboards, beams and wood burning stove create a cosy and comfortable sitting room, while the kitchen's hand built cupboards and original brick floor add further character. Upstairs is a romantic bedroom, and a spacious bathroom with a large roll top bath, perfect for a luxurious soak.

A nice walk, or a short drive takes you to The Plough at Stalisfield Green, a lovely pub with a great reputation. And the village of Charing with its small independent shops is also a short drive away.
