About Mount Pleasant

Mount Pleasant, an 1850's flint cottage, offers country living at its finest. Surrounded by valleys and woodland, your cottage is comfortable and peaceful. It's like having your own little country paradise, your retreat from the modern world. Dream away in the garden watching stunning sunsets. Appreciate a cup of tea in the conservatory or at the decked terrace outside, watching the sun rise.

Leave the car behind, put on your walking boots, relish in wonderful country walks starting literally at the end of your garden, what a luxury. Denton Valley and Mount Pleasant Woods are your immediate neighbours. Within the estate there is a wild flower meadow of approximately 50 acres and has an abundance of flowers, where butterflies and bees are at home!

Snuggle up around the wood burning stove during winter, while enjoying playing a board game or watching your favourite film. Fancy a bite to eat out? The local pub, featured in the 1969's 'The Battle of Britain' film, is only a short walk or drive away. Or venture out in Canterbury with an array of international restaurants of your choice.

Comfortable bedrooms beckon you to sleep. Have a good night's rest ready for another day exploring the North Downs with it's quintessentially English villages, stop at a tea room or eat at a country pub. Discover the great Cathedral City of Canterbury with its medieval history and excellent shopping opportunities.

Whatever the weather Mount Pleasant is a lovely place to stay, and those amazing views won't go away. The perfect cottage for family holidays in Kent or a charming cottage for two.

"The place is of dreams. We were in doubt about exploring the area or just enjoying the house!"

Jose Paulo

"What is not to like, the cottage is 'Gezellig'! We stayed with two young children and they loved it, long walks, bus into the city, hot baths and cartoons. We loved the cottage, the location is a short yet stunning walk the pub/bus stop, the downs are beautiful plus can be viewed from the cottage!"

"Beautiful cottages with beautiful views. We couldn't of asked for more, the personal touches make it feel like home from home! Would totally recommend to friends and family. Will be seeing you again soon. Thank you."
