About Willow Cottage


Enjoy this charming 1700s Kentish cottage situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. With its open-plan sitting room, cleverly designed country kitchen and romantic double bedroom with ensuite shower room, the cottage combines the historic features of oak beams and bricked fireplaces with contemporary cottage styling to provide a cosy ambience for your stay. Enjoy the warmth from the log burner on those chilly days and a barbecue and beverage in the courtyard garden on those summer evenings.

Situated close to the border of East Sussex, on the main road that joins local villages offering easy access to nearby places of interest. The traditional village of Sandhurst provides plenty of amenities within walking distance. There is much to explore and do during your stay with wonderful countryside walks, gardens and castles to visit, wine to taste at local vineyards, sunset river cruises to enjoy and a nearby steam railway to take you back in time. The historic town of Tenterden is a short drive away with its quirky shops, boutiques, tea rooms and restaurants.

Master Bedroom (sleeps 2), double bed, TV, bluetooth speaker, hanging space, chest of drawers.   
Bathroom, electric shower, WC, basin.

Landscaped garden at the front.
Fully enclosed and fenced courtyard on the side of the cottage.  
BBQ. Table and chairs, seating for two.
Access to garden shed for storing dog blankets, etc.
Parking  -  on private driveway.

What you need to know

1 dog permitted (or 2 small dogs by agreement). Dog bed, bowl and towels kindly provided by the owner.

Dog is not allowed to sleep on the bed.

The courtyard (on the right side of the cottage) is fully enclosed and can be accessed from the outside only.

Situated on the A268, the main road that links Flimwell to Rye offering easy access to local attractions, with bus routes available.

Candles are not permitted at Willow Cottage.
