A Stunning manor house and a charming Grade II listed Tudor period holiday cottage forming part of an ancient manor house on the edge of the parkland for Chilham Castle. Both set within their own private grounds in this historic area of Kent, Chilham is the perfect place for a relaxing family holiday or romantic short break whatever the time of year.

The two period holiday cottages - Heron Manor and Mistletoe Cottage are joined by an interconnecting door which allows you to flow through the properties.

Mistletoe cottage has cosy beamed interior and a lovely peaceful private garden to relax and enjoy. Within Heron Manor Beams and wonky walls take centre stage.

The historic city of Canterbury, is a short car journey away giving you the best of both the countryside and the vibrant City life. Luxurious throughout these self-catering holiday home would be perfect for a family vacation or special occasion.

So special...

Chilham is a delightful medieval village with lots going on. There's a tea room, post office and gift shop not forgetting The White Horse with it's delicious menu and warm welcome. The train at nearby Ashford will take you to London in 37 minutes. Chapel Down Vineyard is well worth a visit if time allows.

Heron Manor: sleeps 5 (3+2) in 1 master double bedroom, 1 single bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, reception area with sofa bed for 2 extra guests. With an interconnecting door through to Mistletoe Cottage

Quaint lobby area with inglenook fireplace

A sofa bed has been provided for 2 extra guests (sleeps 2) if required.

Kitchen with oak effect work surfaces, electric oven, gas hob, extractor hood, fridge with freezer compartment and dishwasher. A separate cupboard houses the washing machine.

First Floor

Master bedroom, (sleeps 2) kingsize bed

Second bedroom, (sleeps 1) single bed

Bathroom with double ended bath, separate shower cubicle

Outside

The parking is in a small gravelled parking area off the road.



What you need to know

Off road parking for 2 cars. 

Basket of logs for the wood burning stove are provided for your arrival - please note you will need to purchase more for the duration of your stay. 

Due to the nature of the property, children under 12 years of age are not permitted at Heron Manor and due to the steep staircase, Mistletoe Cottage is not suitable for children under 7.
