About Wild Meadow Cottage

With beautiful views over meadows towards Orlestone Forest, this quaint, character cottage is charmingly nestled in the grounds of the owners impressive farmhouse set amongst rolling green fields and peaceful woodland. With vast landscaped grounds shared with the owners, and an award winning wild flower meadow, you can freely roam and explore. The summer house overlooks the pond which is the perfect spot to unwind with a good book and a glass of something cold, or come evening perch on the cleverly placed logs that overlook the wild meadow offering the very best view of the sunset.

The perfect hideaway for two, this welcoming and deceptively spacious studio cottage has been lovingly thought out by the friendly owners, with a fully equipped kitchen, cosy log burner to curl up in front of in the evenings, and a comfortable bed to rest your head after a day of exploring.

Located in a perfect position for those wanting to explore on foot, with miles of woodland and countryside on your doorstep, pretty Kentish villages and the Saxon Walk Way close by. The locally renowned 16th century inn and gastro pub, The Woolpack at Warehorne is within 2 miles, with an alfresco dining are for those warm summer's day and a cosy interior come winter. Ideally situated between the two towns of Tenterden and Ashford, with the quaint high street of Tenterden and its interesting independent shops, tempting tea rooms, pubs and restaurants just over a 15 minute drive, and equal distance to Ashford with its popular designer outlet and high speed rail link taking you to London in just 38 minutes.

What you need to know

2 pets permitted, please note the grounds are shared with owner. The owner has 6 Labradors which also use grounds.

Neither a cot or highchair are provided but guests are welcome to bring their own.

Parking on shared driveway for 2 cars.

There is a pond in the grounds, please ensure children are supervised at all times.
