About Hop Basket

Set in six acres of landscaped gardens and surrounded by stunning Kent countryside, this apartment, which prior to 1980 was still used for storing and drying hops, forms part of a skillfully converted Oast House and retains much of its natural form. Located in an area with a rich cultural history and spectacular scenery there are castles, stately homes, gardens, country walks, vineyards and much more, all within easy reach.

This first floor split level apartment enjoys panoramic views over stunning countryside from the private balcony. With a comfortable sitting room and two light and spacious bedrooms with wonderful views, this is an ideal location for a fun family holiday. With shared use of the tennis court, outdoor pool and fun climbing area mean there's always something to do - and the children might even make new friends!

For larger groups, more properties are available on the complex, Hop Bin and Hop Pocket.

The McCaughen Family - July 2016

"Stayed in July/August 2016 in hop basket, the apartment was immaculate and had everything that anybody could possibly need and was very comfortable and cosy. Ensuite bathroom to every bedroom was marvelous-especially for my teenage daughter! We had such a wonderful stay and will be returning in the future. The facilities were excellent with an outdoor pool, tennis courts, BBQ area, play area and even a games room and a fabulous laundry. the apartments are in a beautiful countryside setting, yet only three miles from Tonbridge centre and overall location was centrally located to visit all of Kent and East Sussex. My relatives stayed in two other apartments at this property (hop pocket and hop bin) and they all felt the same about their apartments. The owners of the apartments are friendly, welcoming and approachable and checked regularly if we had everything we needed and everything was okay. overall-fantastic !!!"
