Guests are very welcome to walk from the property over the adjoining countryside where lambs can be seen frolicking during Spring. Private fishing is also available ½ mile away over the estuary wall.
Nearby, the small village of Upchurch boasts not only a general store and pub but a golf course too. The popular "River Valley" golf course, constructed on 120 acres of undulating parkland has testing greens offering golfers a truly challenging round. The clubhouse has an excellent restaurant and heated indoor swimming pool, available to families of golfers playing the course.
The property is in an excellent location for touring the area with easy connection to the M2 motorway providing access to a myriad of local attractions and activities. For those who enjoy the sea, take a leisurely drive along the North Kent coastline where you will find the diverse seaside towns nearby. Alternatively London and all it has too offer is only 55 minutes away by train from nearby Rainham, for those visitors looking for a real change of pace.
