If you are looking for a rural retreat for a romantic weekend away then this sweet one bedroom cottage is ideal. Enjoy country walks along the bridal path just outside the property which can take you to Tonbridge or Tunbridge Wells. Along the way there are many different trails to follow including Pembury Walks, Capel, Tudeley Woods RSPB nature reserve, which has an extensive area of mixed woodland, heathland and wildflower meadows.
Set between the bustling towns of Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells, Castle Hill Stables is perfectly located to not only explore the Kent countryside but enjoy the vibrant shops, bars and restaurants the towns have to offer. There is the added bonus of the use of the outdoor swimming pool (weather dependant) which is a real sun trap on the hot summer days.
Castle Hill Stable is a great base for visiting the abundance of attractions in the area. Just jump on the train and you will be in London in 45 minutes and there you can enjoy all the city has to offer. For those who would like a day in France, the Channel Tunnel for that "continental experience" is just an hour away.
Tunbridge Wells is a hub of activity, with plenty of events throughout the year you may not wish to even leave the town. Sample the restaurants, browse the antique shops or simply pack a picnic and head to the park to soak up the afternoon sun. Well situated on the Kent / Sussex border, there are many historic attractions, gardens and galleries within a short drive or train journey away. A fantastic base, or home for a few months if you are on business or studying in the area.
