About Griffin Hall

We welcome you to exclusively hire Griffin Hall, a sophisticated Grade II listed manor, set in 11 acres of breathtaking grounds. The ideal venue for a party with plenty of space for groups, surround yourself in Jacobean elegance and be transported into the glittering world of English aristocracy and Victorian romance.

This unforgettable stately home, offers enchanting elegance within a striking period building dating back to 1637, nestled peacefully to the outskirts of the pretty village of Wellingborough. Boasting opulence with a stylish flair and in keeping with the traditional charm and grandeur that only a house of this stature and period can provide.

The many reception rooms each ooze style and tradition with a mix of period furnishings and contemporary, modern pieces. Panelled walls and exquisite designer works of art set the scene of this country home near London. Centre piece marble and stone fireplaces with cast iron inserts are the heart of the home in Winter, providing the perfect place to huddle around an open fire.

The sumptuous bedrooms are all individually decorated, grand four-poster beds, suites with fire places, large bay windows and children's twin rooms perched high in the eaves. With a host of rooms across three floors the hall provides the perfect base for a group gathering to enjoy any time of the year.

With so much space, the options are endless for where you choose to dine. For large gatherings the grand reception hall can be prepared as the formal dining room and on arrangement can easily cater 34 guests to dine.

The magnificent estate offers unsurpassed opportunity for relaxation. Take an amble along elevated lawns admiring the listed dovecote, stables and Victorian summer house along your way. Indulge in fine dining in the sheltered outdoor terrace, with little between you and the ornamental lake but the gardens with twinkling lanterns adorning the trees. The perfect place to wile away the hours with a summer evening soiree and entertaining or that well-earned intimate family BBQ.

Devote your time to action and activity; budding tennis champs can develop their skills on the outdoor tennis court nestled within the historic gardens, whilst little ones work up an appetite on the trampoline or endless matches on the table tennis in the barn before being reluctantly summoned for dinner.

Walk off a feast with a tour of your private grounds, venturing across the manicured croquet lawn amongst mature trees. Later serenade a loved one or simply have some fun out on the rowing boat down on the lake with the fresh water stream running beneath, echoes of Wind in the Willows. Adjacent to the house is the optimum location for evening of fun in the hot tub*, which can be arranged on request. The perfect setting for adult groups and a stylish place for enjoying an evening tipple as the sun sets over the trees.

"Thank you. It was a privilege to have been able to enjoy what must have taken you many years to achieve - a great house and grounds."

February 2016 - D. Parker

"This is an extremely belated thank you for letting us stay in your truly delightful home in October. Sarah was a great referral and absolutely wonderful! She really made the weekend and I am so glad that we had her. Aside from being gorgeous the food was also superb and I must make a special mention for the lovely Mr Fricker with the clay pigeon shooting. The weather was great and the house superb for our group. We couldn't have gone anywhere better. Thanks again Pam - it was a very special family reunion for us and a special weekend."

January 2016 - Sush Ingrams

"I just wanted to say thank you for allowing us to stay in and use your beautiful home. We had an amazing time and the team building was brilliant."
