Set in the heart of the Quantock Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this charming converted stables offers comfortable accommodation in a wonderful setting. Perched on the edge of a hill with glorious views of rolling countryside and meadows, with miles of byways and bridleways to satisfy walkers, mountain bikers and of course horse riders. You really can immerse yourself into the country lifestyle.

The cottage benefits from the use of an adjoining games room with snooker and table tennis. To make the most of the views, the cottage has an upstairs open-plan sitting room with cosy wood burner and a kitchen/dining area. The two bedrooms are downstairs - a double bedroom and a twin room, both furnished with beautiful antiques which are a feature throughout, creating the perfect countryside retreat.

After you have explored the natural beauty of The Quantocks, the cultural beauty of Glastonbury is within an hours drive and well worth a visit.

First Floor

Open plan sitting room with log burner, TV (free view), kitchen area with dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave and electric hob. Washer/dryer

Dining room with table and chairs for 6. Door to garden.

Separate WC.


A terrace area with table and BBQ is opposite the property. There is access to shared garden areas.

Games room with pool table and table tennis.

Up to 2 horses allowed at £25.00 per horse per night

What you need to know

Cot and highchair available

Property is set on working stables with horses and dogs. Only one child under 10 is accepted.

Stabling for 2 horses if required - please enquire


The owners do have their own well behaved dogs 

During the winter there is a basket of logs for the wood burner. If guests run out there is a small charge for additional logs locally.
