About Meadow View Stables

The Stables, the larger of the two cottages, has been beautifully renovated. The owner has enhanced its character with a mixture of stone and wooden floors and white woodwork to create a wonderful holiday home.

The cottage is on two floors with two bedrooms. Both offer flexible accommodation, with either a king size double bed or two singles. The family bathroom has been beautifully designed with tongue and groove paneling and a generous walk in shower.

Painted in pale hues, with lovely accessories the cottage has the most relaxing atmosphere, ideal for your holiday or short break stay.

Downstairs the bright open plan accommodation of this self-catering cottage has a pretty kitchen with luxurious granite worktops, ideal for creating those delicious holiday meals. Sink into the sofas after a busy day exploring the local area, and relax with a lovely glass of wine. If the weather is good, you will be taking advantage of the south facing courtyard garden, enjoying the end of the day, listening to birdsong and marveling at the stunning views over the farm and The Quantock Hills.

The Stables can be rented with Meadow View Cottage for a lovely gathering of family and friends. All in all, this cottage has all the benefits of being only half an hour from the coast, not far from the market town of Taunton and in absolutely classically beautiful English countryside.

"The warm welcome we received on arrival and those special extras in the fridge started our short break off perfectly. With plenty to do in the area, two nights is not enough - especially when you are staying in a lovely cottage where we felt very at home. We will definitely be returning, but for longer next time. Thank you very much!"

Emma Piotrowski

"Our stay at The Stables was 5 star. Waking up after a restful nights sleep to fantastic views over the countryside. The accommodation is well suited to a relaxing luxurious break, a cut above the norm with an excellent host. Thanks again - we had a great time."
