Within the 3,400 acres of the magnificent Trimley Estate, near the Trimley Nature Reserve, you will discover Searsons Farmhouse. Gorgeous views of the countryside are on your door step at this farmhouse, with an abundance of wildlife, including deer and, a variety of birds, which are often spotted here. With bright, spacious bedrooms, decorated and finished to the highest standard you can expect all guests can relax in luxury surroundings including a spacious living room and dining room.

The heart of the home, the kitchen, is a wonderful centre to relax and enjoy the company of your friends and family. Outside the expansive gardens offer the perfect place for an afternoon in the sun or a bracing autumnal walk, the ideal place for those looking for a rural retreat in the county of Suffolk.

This lovely Suffolk house is part of a farmhouse in a stunning rural setting with wonderful views towards the River Deben. If you are looking for a getaway with your friends this is the place for you! Suffolk is renowned for its food with many gastro pubs nearby, several on the many local inlets and rivers where you can watch the boats go by and enjoy the extensive bird life. Sutton hoo, home to the stunning remains of a Viking settlement and long boat are just a few miles away. Its easy to visit the seaside at Aldeburgh and Southwold too for your fix of fish and chips and all that the seaside has to offer.

Searsons House: sleeps 10, with 5 bedrooms, 2 en suites and 1 family bathroom. Wi-Fi, iPod docking station, extensive gardens with outdoor furniture and BBQ. Ample parking spaces.

Ground Floor

Living room: open plan living space, ample comfortable seating for all guests. flat screen TV with a blu-ray, dvd player and iPod docking station. Cosy wood-burning stove.
Kitchen: well-equipped kitchen. electric range cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer. A washing machine is featured in the rear hallway.
Dining room: long dining table seating 10
Cloakroom: the ground floor cloakroom has a hand basin and w.c.

First Floor

Bedroom 1 king size bed (sleeps 2)
Bedroom 2 double bed (sleeps 2) with en-suite to shower room.
Family bathroom has a shower over the bath, w.c. and hand basin.
Bedroom 3 double bed (sleeps 2) with a wardrobe with en-suite shower, w.c. and a hand basin.

Second Floor

Bedroom 4 in the eaves of the cottage, a twin bedroom (sleeps 2) two single beds
Bedroom 5 opposite bedroom 4 in the eaves of the cottage twin bedroom (sleeps 2) two single beds


Large garden surrounds the property and a patio area with outdoor seating and a Coal BBQ (Coal not provided please supply your own)

Hot Tub can be booked for your stay for either the weekend or the week, please indicate at the point of booking if you'd like this option. For 1-3 nights the additional cost is £300 for 4-7 nights the additional cost is £360. (Please note different prices apply for Christmas and New Year Hire).

Only well behaved dogs are acceptable, please state this at the time of booking.
Cot and highchair can be provided.
Hot Tub can be booked for your stay for either 3 or 7 nights, please indicate at the point of booking if you'd like this options. For 3 nights the additional cost is £300 for 7 nights the additional cost is £360.  (Please note different prices apply for Christmas and New Year Hire).
Please note: the stairs up to the 2nd floor are a little steeper than standard stairs. Due to the period nature of this property, some of the ceiling and door frame heights throughout the property can be fairly low.
The cottage is located within a working farm. There is an unfenced pond within the grounds.

Searsons House is available to let either separately or in conjunction with the adjoining Searsons  Cottage. Both cottages can be rented together to sleep up to 18 at Searsons.
