About Wiston Cottage

A lovely cottage surrounded by countryside, woodland, rural views and gentle rolling hills ideal for families and friends to stay in peace and tranquillity. The ground floor being accessible given NAS Mobility Level 2 status.

Enclosed garden gives peace of mind if you chose to bring your dogs and where you can soak up the sun or plunge into your own bubbling hot-tub. A cosy sitting room with big sofas and log burning stove is snug during the cooler autumn and winter months.

You won't be short of things to occupy your time with excellent activities and facilities on site. Indoor swimming pool and sauna, all-weather tennis court and fishing lake. Follow a marked trail meeting furry, friendly farm animals on the way and discover wildlife amongst the woodland.

Entertain the children at the indoor playbarn or playground, softplay for tots, table tennis, trampoline, Wendy House, climbing nets, football goal posts and more! To help you unwind and relax you will find an on-site beauty salon offering massage, facials, aromatherapy along with typical salon treatments.

Make the most of the cabin-style shop located on the farm. A range of local treats such as ice-creams, eggs or drinks from Adnams Brewery of Southwold. There are breakfast and snack staples available along with home-made ready meals.

Nestled in the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the landscapes and lowlands were made famous by artists John Constable and Thomas Gainsborough. Visit Flatford Mill to see the instantly recognisable setting of the Haywain. The Angel Inn, in Stoke-by-Nayland is a lovely local pub. Bustling Sudbury is a quaint market town surrounded by gentle rolling farmland, pretty quintessential English villages, rivers and waterways.

Bedroom 3 (sleeps 2) twin single beds, can be zipped together to make kingsize, TV. En-suite shower room.


Private fenced garden, views across the farm gardens to the Stour Valley hills. BBQ, outdoor dining furniture for and private hot-tub.

What you need to know

A welcome pack of fresh bread, jams, milk, biscuits. 

Baby equipment including cots, highchairs, sterilizers, baby monitors, baby bath and more can be borrowed upon request (does not include linen for cot).

Indoor heated swimming pool, shared sauna and hot tub open year round. To comply with local planning rules the local school use the pool during term time for a few hours in the afternoon. A timetable is displayed in the cottage.

Please note: The shared pool is out of use for a couple of hours a day. Details will be provided on booking.

Guests use the hot tub facilities at their own risk, and due to harsh chemicals used for maintenance purposes some skin types may react.

Fishing pond stocked with Carp and Rudd (you do need a rod licence)

Visitor shop providing breakfast and snack items, local products and ice-creams. Tennis racquets, games, balls, boules and croquet sets are available to borrow.

Cycle store.

Pre-order breakfast and snack hampers as an add-on.
