About Aldeburgh Lodge

Sitting proudly in the centre of Aldeburgh, a pretty and perfectly preserved seaside town on the beautiful Suffolk coast, can be found this exquisite holiday cottage.

Aldeburgh Lodge welcomes you with contemporary style, chic furnishings and light, bright décor. It offers a large sitting room with an atmospheric gas fireplace; an inviting area to unwind in the evening - or to spark some healthy competition over a classic board game. The house also boasts 5 stunning bedrooms, thoughtfully furnished to provide maximum flexibility, and with 3 luxurious bathrooms (one with roll-top bath) there are plenty of facilities for your group.

Step out into the fully enclosed garden - ideal for children and dogs too - for sunny afternoons on the terrace under the awning or enjoying the range of garden games provided. Through the wide bifold doors that seamlessly connect to this al fresco experience, perhaps the biggest wow factor is the spacious open-plan kitchen and dining room. With a bespoke kitchen, double-height ceiling and generous table to gather round, it is the perfect space to get together with family and friends to celebrate a special occasion. A wonderful opportunity to create happy memories in this charming part of East Anglia.

What makes this area
So special...

Aldeburgh is one of those seaside gems, pretty as a picture and everything within walking distance. The town itself is renowned for its independent shops, cafe culture, great restaurants and pubs and of course the 2 fish and chip shops. The walks are wonderful as in one direction you can stroll along the beach and in the other are the wonderfully atmospheric marshes that surround the town. With public tennis courts, 9 hole golf course, sailing, bowls and a boat pond for the kids there is lots to do. Further afield, the stunning mediaeval city of Norwich is an hour away, Framlingham and Orford Castles are within 20 minutes and you can take a boat trip down the river or go crabbing at Walbeswick. But of course you could just sit and watch the world go by or lie on the beach and enjoy the ever changing view.
