The double fronted pretty cottage is beautifully furnished inside with leather sofas in the sitting room grouped around the gas fireplace giving a lovely cosy feel to the room. Original black and white photos mix with union jack cushions and quirky mirrors to give the room a really vibrant feel.
The kitchen is very well equipped and also charming with space to relax and enjoy a meal after a busy day sight seeing or at the beach. There is a small rear extension, ideal for storage that leads out into the garden. Upstairs there are three good sized rooms.
There is a really good sized garden which would be ideal for a family game or just to relax and enjoy a glass of wine.
All in all this would be a comfortable and relaxing Sussex holiday home in a wonderful location with so much to see and do!
The cottage has been rated 4 star by Visit England.

"We have just returned from a lovely holiday at your cottage in Winchelsea, we couldn't find the visitors book so I thought I would drop you a line to say how much we enjoyed our week away, the cottage is lovely, fabulous location and very comfortable. we enjoyed a couple of meals at the New Inn and also enjoyed lovely sunshine in the garden and round and about. It was very interesting to see the photo of your grandparents in the Millenium Book, what a great project, I am very into family history research so loved reading the history of all the local houses. There wasn't anything missing in the house that we would need so thanks very much."September 2014

"We enjoyed a lovely week at the cottage in August. Our two young sons thoroughly enjoyed the garden and the nearby playground. The village shop, deli and pub are lovely and we enjoyed sampling local produce. Winchelsea is a great base for visiting the local area and we hope to visit again in 2014."Louise Prenton

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Winchelsea. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed how spacious the garden was, and the table and chairs allowed us to have our dinner with the perfect accompaniment of flowers and butterflies. Our recommendations for days out would be rock-pooling at Pett Level, Rye Harbour and Bodiam Castle."Thank you from Jon, Helen, Jude and Felix, Crystal Palace, London Aug 2012
