About The Mint in Rye

The Mint is a formative part of the ancient town of Rye, a quaint street only seconds from the Heritage Centre; river and all the independent shops and cafes the town centre has to offer. Step into the living room and admire the large Tudor brick inglenook fireplace that occupies a whole wall, the comfortable sofas are a perfect place from which to congregate after an exciting day out exploring the area.

With a well equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing an evening meal, and extensive exposed brick work and beams this accommodation conjures up images of the past. Relax in absolute comfort in the sumptuous bedrooms, with complimentary dressing robes you will be enveloped in luxury.

When out and about, the town still has a busy fishing fleet and fresh fish can be bought at Fish market Quay. For those wishing to eat out Rye has a wide variety of pubs, inns and excellent restaurants; The George, The Ship and The Standard for example, many of these in historic buildings. What could be more perfect in cool weather than enjoying a lunch or afternoon tea in front of a roaring log fire in one of these many charming locations.
