"One of the best cottages we've ever stayed in. Excellent for dogs. Clean, well equipped, good facilities, lovely area of Wiltshire"

October 2018

"What a great cottage, everything we needed, peace and quiet. All the comforts of home and a bottle of wine! Have enjoyed everything and climbed the Cathedral tower, wow what history! Thanks so much."

April 2017 - Henry and Pete

"Thank you for a fabulous and very welcoming cottage, we couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you for the wine, treats and doggie biscuits. Walks in the woods were a perfect start to the morning. We visited the Christmas market, attended the darkness to light service at the Cathedral and watched the lantern parade. Thank you again, going home feeling very relaxed and recharged. All the best."

November 2016- Linda, Sue and Hugo

"We have had an enjoyable week in this beautifully appointed holiday home- every detail has been covered and we will certainly recommend the cottage to our friends. The weather has been exceptionally kind and visits to Salisbury cathedral and the Army flying museum have all been enjoyed. My husbands day fly fishing yielded a trout and enabled him to cross the event off his 'bucket list'! We are so glad we discovered this gem in the glorious Wiltshire countryside."

May 2017 - Mike and Hazel

"Thank you for your kind and warm welcome. In this pretty and light cottage, we really felt at home. We enjoyed the scenery, our walks and the visits to Salisbury and Winchester and the gardens we have seen. We love to come to the UK and this experience stimulates to come again."

April 2017 - Raimond and Ina

"Two deer were floating across the field as we arrived! Beautiful setting and perfectly appointed cottage. We enjoyed the jaunts to Lyndhurst, Winchester and Avon Beach. Stockbridge is incredibly pretty but take care if you travel South, we narrowly avoided 3 squirrels and a deer driving through the woods. Huge thanks to Eleanor and David, fantastic holiday."

Luc, Dan and Doris the Sheepdog, October 2016

"This is a truly comfortable cottage, with all you need if (and when) the weather turns indifferent. Polly has explored many miles of footpaths in the area with still more to try out next time. Thank you for everything David and Eleanor ,including the wine."

Tony, Jane and Polly September 2016 From Hastings

"Great place to stay comfortable and well equipped, we have visited numerous N.T properties and all the old favourites-Stonehenge and Avebury. We have had a thoroughly enjoyable break. Many Thanks"

Celia and Simon, September From Isle of Wight

"Enjoyed our stay very much. Everything is presented beautifully. Particularly liked low key management - not easy when situated so closely but well achieved. Bonnie enjoyed running in the field chasing rabbits forgetting that she was a 13 year old Retriever. Calm retreat. Thank you"

Catherine & Jim - August 2016

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this peaceful location. The cottage is immaculate and thoroughly equipped. Thank you also for the thoughtful wine and hospitality tray - gratefully received.. 5* Thank you."

Chris & Duncan, 24th June 2016 - N.Yorkshire

"We've had a great week here in your wonderful cottage - just what the Dr ordered. We've found this spot to be perfectly situated for discovering the area. The weather has been a bonus so even had a paddle in the sea! Would definitely recommend. Thank you"

Liz & Steve, 30th April 2016 - 7th May 2016

"Thank you for the lovely, warm welcome. We've had a perfect and relaxing week in your beautiful cottage - you've thought of everything! Our dog enjoyed her walks in the woods and we've enjoyed exploring the local area. The log burner was a real bonus - we want one at home now! We'll definitely recommend to friends and family and hope to be back ourselves."
