If you are a lover of all things nature, why not visit Knole Park – a 1,000-acre deer park with several million trees. In additional to this National Trust estate, Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve is just north of the town center. It is a site of Special Scientific Interest, covering some 175 acres.
Historic homes, castles and gardens are also a plenty - perfect for those history lovers! Why not take a trip to Penshurst or Hever Castle, the family home of Anne Boleyn, second wife of Henry VIII?
Or if you fancy exploring outside of Sevenoaks itself, just a short drive away is the wonderful National Trust village of Chiddingstone. Renowned for its vineyards and wine tasting, it's the ideal base to explore the wonderful Kent countryside.
Sightseeing done, perhaps make for one of the district’s leisure centres or the all-in-one cultural hub, cinema and theatre that is The Stag Community Arts Centre, before bedding down at one of our lovely holiday cottages in Sevenoaks.
