Cottages in Ledbury
The market town of Ledbury is bustling and vibrant with a unique feel. Distinct from the other Herefordshire market towns at the centre of Ledbury is the Black and White Grade 1 listed Market Hall. Built in 1653 by the King’s Carpenter John Abel – it is one of the finest examples in England and still hosts markets on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Ledbury sits in the shadows of the Malvern Hills, a mountain range in miniature; the eight mile ridge contains some of the oldest rocks in Britain and their craggy outline is reminiscent of the uplands further west into Wales.
