Mulberry Cottages provided a smooth service and everything worked well, the system seems to work very well, We liked the fact that it’s a local company, based in Canterbury. We stayed at 1 Forstall House in Worth. It was an idyllic spot with its garden overlooking paddocks and fields beyond towards Deal. The village is an incredibly pretty place and the inhabitants were very friendly. Very handy for Sandwich and its shops and sights. The cottage itself was very thoughtfully renovated and retains an old-world feel whilst being very modern and up to date. The facilities were very well thought out; we were impressed not only with the beautiful kitchen but that the owners had thought to provide children’s crockery as well as adult; it seemed to have all the utensils that we would need. It was also lovely that there were toys for the children as well, which our small ones absolutely loved. The cottage was incredibly comfortable in every way. The conservatory was super, so even on the two rainy days, we could be out in the garden and enjoy the countryside around. No problems or complaints whatsoever. Your system seems to work well. Marvellous holiday.

All went very smoothly - thank you. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, with everything you could possibly want. The owners were extremely helpful. Can I check - was a welcome hamper to be included? We received a bottle of wine and chocolates.

Smooth process of booking at all points. Directions and instructions for access clear and prompt. Unusual extent of contact with the owners which was great. Lovely house with every possible home-from-home item.

Excellent service - took my deposit and reminded me re the final payment. A nice village - quiet and pleasant walking in the surrounding country. The house was clean but could do with some attention - there were no lights over the mirrors in the bathrooms, no mirror in the small bedroom. The small bedroom had no hanging space and the other room had no chest of drawers. When staying for a week these kinds of facilities are essential. The parking space is small and awkward to get in to - our average sized saloon car just got in. It is not helped by the man next door parking his car on the road and its sticking well out into our access area. The nice little garden looks over fields but could do with a small table - not easy to drink out there although there are chairs provided. We could not find any instructions to the oven/cooker - could have done with them.

I would recommend the company, I would buy from them again, although I feel that the booking fee should be included in the overall price.

The cottage was beautiful - even more so than we expected, and particularly cosy and welcoming. We would definitely recommend Mulberry Cottages to friends and family and would also definitely consider booking/buying from them again. The cottage was extremely welcoming and comfortable with a huge amount of wardrobe space (with lots of coat hangers, which isn’t always the case!) It was spacious enough for the 5 of us to spread around and do our own thing, without disturbing each other. The attic room was great for our 12 year old, who loved the independence it gave him. The garden was also lovely (although we didn’t get the opportunity to enjoy it as much as we would have liked, due to the inclement weather!) On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the owners and appreciated the prosecco and chocolates left for our consumption! They were also extremely helpful and generous towards us during the entirety of our stay. If there could one thing that could be improved upon - it would be the hand/bath towels provided - we expected them to be large and luxurious too! But that’s quite a minor thing in the light of all the positives offered by 1 Forstal House. If we decide to have another break in Kent, we would definitely consider booking 1 Forsta House again.

Mulberry Cottages were very efficient and helpful Forstal House is a lovely home, very comfortable and well equipped. Everything is good quality and tasteful - it was a great place to celebrate my birthday. Worth village is pretty and we enjoyed walking across the fields to Sandwich which is delightful. Overall a super house - we would thoroughly recommend it.

Have used this company before and have always found them to be helpful and flexible. I particularly like being able to book less than a week. Lovely house that could be perfect with small additions, such as an umbrella and table to use in the very sunny garden! We had great weather but there is no shade at all!
