A beautiful little cottage. We had a excellent stay and found it central for all the places we wanted to visit along the Dorset coast. Thank you to Paul and his family for a perfect stay and would love to use the cottage again. Thank you.

easy to book, comprehensive emails with good directions. Contact numbers for the owners made everything easy Cottage was perfect for a couple, newly decorated and fitted out to a high standard. It had everything you would need for a week away from home. Located in a small village but only a few miles from Dorchester and the Jurassic Coast. Hosts were friendly and helpful without being intrusive and keen to share information on the local area with ideas on eating places, walks and driving routes. The hosts had friendly dogs, classic Jaguars and Alpacas!!! we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this cottage

Booking was easy, the cottage and the Alcapa’s were lovely! Really enjoyed the stay and the view! What a cottage for a surprise birthday break away! It’s position looking out across the fields and watching the Alpaca’s was amazing, it’s extremely well positioned to explore the area with some nice dog friendly pubs located close by, the owners were brilliant on hand to give some advice for exploring, and happy to talk Alapca’s! The folder in the cottage gives some excellent turn by turn driving routes to see some amazing sights, but it’s easy to miss a turning while looking out at the scenary. The cottage itself has everything you need, comfy bed, nice shower, and somewhere to chill out after all the exploring. My only complaint was the owners didn’t let me take little Eric the Alpaca home :)

Everything as you would want. Everything about Alpaca is beautiful and the owners are delightful. The only issue we had was that the cottage really is an annexe and should probably be described as such. To have a normal internal door as a connecting door and be able to hear very clearly a dinner party taking place next door was not what we were expecting. To also be very much part of the coming and going of the owners friends for dinner was not the fully relaxing experience we had hoped for. That said everything was beautiful and the location delightful. Feel bad about sounding disappointed but feel the the reservations should be made clear.

Absolutely lovely, very peaceful location, the cottage was beautiful, just enough for the two of us, the owners Paul and Fiona were very helpful giving us advice on where to visit, just a pity the weather didn’t play ball we could have done with more sunshine but can’t be helped, would definitely return, the alpacas are the most tranquil animals I have ever seen, and the dogs Sophi and Guiness the two most bouncy dogs I have ever met, thank you both.

Beautiful cottages displayed on an easy to use website. Polite staff when I had to call to arrange ferry crossing to IOW Beautiful cottage in a lovely part of the world. Owners were very hospitable and full of knowledge for the area. Nothing to dislike , very comfortable and clean. Added bonus of watching the Alpacas being sheered. Will definitely recommend this lovely find, thank you.
