Set back in a quiet cul-de-sac with wonderful Cathedral views there’s also a lovely spacious enclosed garden at the back complete with a decked area chiminea table chairs and a BBQ. A great space to enjoy during the warmer days of the year. On the cooler days sitting around the chiminea with a glass of mulled wine would be a delight too\nAugustines Cottage has been tastefully decorated by its owners throughout. Relax put your feet up by the fire in the inviting comfortable sitting room and unwind after a day of shopping exploring Kent or a visit to the magnificent Canterbury Cathedral.\nAnd oui oui the gorgeous sumptuous double bedroom has a slight French twist sink in ’Le Grand’ classic French bed after you light some candles and emerge yourself from the bubble bath in the beautiful en-suite bathroom with a luxurious roll top bath.\nThe equally spacious twin bedroom has views of the cathedral and has use of the downstairs shower room.\nOnly steps away from the city centre we are very lucky to offer you this beautiful cottage. Ideal for a city break great for those who love to shop or dine out. Also explore the city’s quieter parts like Augustine’s Abbey allows dogs in the grounds take a river trip along the Stour. Walk or cycle the ’Crab Winkle Way’ all the way to Whitstable at your leisure."

    A free visitor parking permit is available for the nearby Longport car park. If this is required, please request at time of booking and supply the vehicle number plate.

     

    Properties in England - Current government guidance states that in England, outdoor restaurants and takeaway options, as well as swimming pools are permitted to open in Step 2 (expected to be 12 April – 16 May 2021), subject to social distancing rules. Indoor entertainment and areas of hospitality will not be permitted to open until Step 3 (expected to be 17 May – 20 June 2021).

    Wales: The latest Welsh government guidance states that outdoor attractions and outdoor hospitality, including at cafes, pubs and restaurants can reopen on Monday 26 April 2021. Gyms, leisure facilities and fitness facilities can reopen on 3 May 2021.
     
    Scotland: The latest Scottish government guidance states that gyms and swimming pools can reopen for individual exercise on 26 April 2021. On the same day, outdoor hospitality (which can serve alcohol and stay open until 10pm) and indoor hospitality (without alcohol and closing at 8pm) can reopen.
