"Looking to relax and escape the hustle and bustle? Berewood Hut is ideal. It provides a deep sense of calm on arrival with its secluded location and countryside outlook you’ll want to go back to simpler times.\nInside there’s an induction hob for preparing meals but why not light up the fire-bowl to cook your feast? Dine inside or out - the choice is yours. You are totally self contained in the hut for breakfast. You are provided with fresh bread butter jam muesli and porridge oats two day supply fresh coffee tea bags and either fresh milk or soya if you prefer. There is a toaster fridge and coffee cafetiere in the hut.\nThe interior space has been put together with modern conveniences and expectations in mind and is very clean and fresh feeling. Glancing inside you wouldn’t think there was a fridge a power shower or an induction hob - it all looks too quaint and charming but they’re definitely in there\nLook out for barn owls foxes badgers and other wildlife in the lush meadowland and orchard around the hut.\nIf you stay lasts longer than 48hrs in hotel fashion a cleaner will arrange a time to pop in to freshen up the compost toilet."

We had a lovely stay at the hut. It is in a good location near Lewes and has everything you need inside, plus great views of the orchard/sheep. The wood burner meant we stayed cosy and warm despite the wet and windy weather outside. The owners were very accommodating and provided a really helpful list of local walks which we enjoyed trying out.
