Upstairs there are two bedrooms one master bedroom with kingsize bed and one twin room so ideal for two couples.\nBonnington Cottage sits within the Goodnestone Park country estate owned by Lord and Lady Fitzwalter. Guests can visit the beautiful gardens once favoured by Jane Austen whose brother married into the Fitzwalter family. The gardens are open to the public from April to September each year.\nWithin walking distance is the pretty village of Goodnestone. The local pub The Fitzwalter Arms offers good food a warm welcome to dogs and their owners\nThe cottage is located on a quiet country lane and surrounded by lovely walks. Further afield is the historic City of Canterbury with its Cathedral museums art galleries cafes and restaurants. And just a short drive away is the lovely East Kent coastline with the historic towns of Sandwich Deal and Walmer all worth a visit."

What you need to know
1 Dog welcome, please keep on a lead at all times outside of the garden. The cottage is surrounded by breeding pheasants, livestock and horses.
