Guests can visit the beautiful gardens once favoured by Jane Austen whose brother married into the Fitzwalter family. The gardens are open to the public from April to September each year.\nWithin walking distance is the pretty village of Goodnestone. 1 Dog welcome, please keep on a lead at all times outside of the garden. The cottage is surrounded by breeding pheasants, livestock and horses.
