After much love and attention it has been transformed into a beautiful holiday home with a chocolate box exterior and elegant country style interior.\nPerfect for relaxing breaks all year the pretty cottage garden can be enjoyed in the summer and in colder months the warm and snug sitting room has a cosy wood burner.\nThe modern kitchen is well equipped for self catering. Upstairs there are two bedrooms one master bedroom with kingsize bed and one twin room so ideal for small families or two couples.\nBonnington Cottage sits within the Goodnestone Park country estate owned by Lord and Lady Fitzwalter. Guests can visit the beautiful gardens once favoured by Jane Austen whose brother married into the Fitzwalter family. The gardens are open to the public from April to September each year.\nWithin walking distance is the pretty village of Goodnestone. The local pub The Fitzwalter Arms offers good food a warm welcome to dogs and their owners\nThe cottage is located on a quiet country lane and surrounded by lovely walks. Further afield is the historic City of Canterbury with its Cathedral museums art galleries cafes and restaurants. And just a short drive away is the lovely East Kent coastline with the historic towns of Sandwich Deal and Walmer all worth a visit."

What you need to know
1 Dog welcome, please keep on a lead at all times outside of the garden. The cottage is surrounded by breeding pheasants, livestock and horses.
There is parking for two cars alongside the house.
This property has a very steep staircase and stone floors and so is not suitable for children under 5 including babies.
