About Botany Bay House

Introduction

"\\Although a modern build Botany Bay House doesn’t want for character. The communal areas are gloriously light airy and spacious but with plenty of homely touches to make it feel cosy in the winter. Framed illustrations of animals shelves full of cooking books and shabby chic seaside brick-a-brack make it feel like a proper family home however the high-tech appliances and hot tub make it feel a luxurious place to stay.\\ - Ideal Magazine January 2019\nBotany Bay House ticks all the boxes for the perfect holiday home. Sea views contemporary open plan layout with conservatory three bedrooms two bathrooms and a large decked garden with hot tub - what more could you want\nThe lovely golden sands of Botany Bay are on your doorstep and to make sure guests have a great time the owner provides everything you need for a fabulous day by the sea - beach chairs beach towels buckets and spades and a cool box. All you need to buy is the ice cream.\nOf course this lovely house isn’t just for the summer. With the private secluded garden and hot tub even Spring and Autumn stays are a joy and the large balcony overlooking the sea provides sheltered views across to France.\nBotany Bay House is located on The Viking Coastal Trail a 25 mile walking and cycle rail around the coast of the Isle of Thanet taking in the vibrant towns of Margate Broadstairs and Ramsgate. For those who don’t want to walk far the Botany Bay Hotel is a few yards away serving food and Kentish brewer Shepherd Neame ales. The town of Broadstairs is just under three miles away and can be reached by a pleasant coastal walk or by car. Once there a wide range of independent shops cafes pubs and restaurants can be explored. The owner has suggested Wyatt and Jones Posillipo’s and Albarino’s as three of their favourite.\nAll in all a superb holiday home for guests of all ages and interests."

Easy and simple to book, all of the cottages on the Mulberry cottages website look amazing. We chose Botany Bay house, and it did not disappoint. Botany Bay house is amazing. Location is superb and stunning, the house itself has attention to detail, literally not 1 thing missing. My wife and son visited early October and we didn’t want to leave. Stunning property. Thank you.

Everything about the booking went very smoothly. Payment was hassle free. Didn’t need to contact anybody - the whole holiday let was managed online. It was a jolly good holiday let for a family. House was clean, well stocked with good quality linen, towels, furniture and utensils. Hot tub and balcony were a bonus. If one wanted to nitpick - a toast rack in the kitchen woud have been useful!

It was so easy to book and pay online, with even the final payment being taken automatically after an e-mail reminder as to when this would happen. I did ring customer services when the e-mail containing details of key arrangements didn’t arrive when expected. The phone was answered very quickly and the friendly lady apologised that the automatic e-mail send had not worked and she sent the e-mail immediately. The property we stayed in was lovely and was accurately described on the website. A lovely house in a beatiful spot. A real home from home. We would definitely consider returning here. Every home comfort you could think of and really comfortable beds too.

Very good. The photographs of Botany Bay House don’t do it justice - the house was even better than we expected. So many thoughtful touches. Beach towels and even picnic sets and buckets and spades were supplied; and the kitchen was very well equipped. There was a coffee press - I always take one on holiday and this time there was no need. Thank you to the owners of Botany Bay House and the Mulberry Cottage team for providing us with everything we needed for a very comfortable and relaxing holiday :) Btw.... if you are a fan of old buildings and places with a real sense of history, you cannot miss Canterbury or Sandwich.
