had a great weekend , would def recommend , only one minor fault , was the kettle was dirty inside , so boiled our water in saucepan otherwise all good

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable 5 day stay in Capitol Apartment. It´s a relatively spacious, well-equipped modern apartment in a perfect location as it´s a 5- minute stroll to the High Street and the cathedral.It also has its own parking space which is a big plus in Winchester. Perfect for a couple and we would definitely go back. Also very easy to access with keycodes, and the owner was kind enough to leave fresh milk and bread, tea and coffee, and homemade cake for our arrival.

The apartment is perfectly located close to the city center of Winchester. An added bonus is the parking space. The apartment itself could have been cleaner; the toilet and shower had stains on them, the towels had yellow and brown spots and the pillows were old and dirty. Kitchen had pretty much all amenities available, but also here some of the cutlery was still dirty. After talking to the owner of the apartment, she did offer help really fast so that was a definite plus.

For us it was a perfect size place in a brilliant position relating to the city. It was really hot on the weekend we stayed it it was lovely to come back to an air-conditioned apartment.

Excellent location for all of the sites in Winchester. Food shops and restaurants very nearby. Only issue we had was we visited in a very hot spell. I wasn't expecting air conditioning which would have been extremely nice but an electric fan would not have gone a miss. I know this is the uk but we do have warm weather occasionally and the apartment was very warm overnight.

Other than, we where given the wrong access codes, both for the building and the apartment, everything was, good. The little extras, particularly the cake were very much appreciated.

Lovely apartment, ideally placed. Clean and modern The only downfall for us seniors was the bed was too low and it was quite difficult to get out. Would definitely recommend to any younger customers

Lovely modern apartment close to the centre, 2 min walk. Private parking space was a bonus. Clean and comfortable. Only down side was some noise at night from pub garden next door.

Whilst the apartment is ideally located to enjoy the amenities of Winchester, its location next to a pub was not for us. The music in the beer garden until after midnight on the Saturday evening could be heard word for word as could the conversations of their customers. The music started again from 5pm on Friday evening so we made the decision to leave on Friday instead of staying until Saturday. The apartment itself has very little natural light or air and had nowhere to store any food other than the fridge. Some of crockery was dirty and had to be washed before we used them. The hairdryer that was supposed to be in the bedroom wasn't there. Other than the music it was very quiet except for the occasional door closing.
