At no point was it pointed out on your site that parking was not only forbidden in the road but also the whole area. In fact up to 10 minute drive outside the area was the only alternative. We tried the suggestion the owner made, but there was no availability when we drove there. Parking permits should be provided or people booking this should be made aware. Ridiculous, which meant an extra charge of 12.00 per day per car in parking charges. This point should be made very clear, as there is no way we would have booked this with the disabilities we were coping with and not having access in the area. I had disabled pensioners staying with me and were still expected to change their badge every three hours on Christmas day as well. It was a nightmare. The actually house was more shabby than chic and the single bed that had arrived in the "dining" room and thus not allowing a table to seat eight in that room was a step too far. Although the owner proceeded to move the bed the next day, and did this without too much of an argument, it was only small blessing. It did of course mean that my family had to stay in the house until this had been finalised. In the kitchen there were no roasting trays, and I needed to go and buy two, no jug or whisk. Surely these are all basic equipment for a standard kitchen. I was about to cook a Christmas lunch. Please explain what I was expected to put a turkey on and roast potatoes in? The fridge had all the shelves attached to the door missing, which meant limited space in the small fridge where drinks and milk had to be housed as well. The chimney had not been swept, and when the fire was lit, it filled the room with smoke, and we had to open the windows or a very cold and wet day. In the bathroom, there was washing already left in the washing machine, and the bath which needs to be re-enambled looked unclean. We decided not to use either. Finally, in my bedroom, in the attic room, there was no storage and the bed linen which did not even match smelt musty. Obviously put away whilst still damp and not ironed. I am sure that for nine hundred pounds for less than three days, standards should of been higher than this. I

The owner was super super nice and helpful and met us on time. The house was very dirty, though, and feels like it could use a bit of attention. For the price and the size was good.

Great service with a wide range of cottages to suit all needs and costs. We had a fabulous time and enjoyed our stay. The place was spacious for us all, had everything we needed for our stay and was comfortable. Its an older property with wonderful character and charm. Its close to Cheltenham and an easy walk into the town centre.

Very good prompt communication. Slight discrepancy on booking form and information with owner about arrival time, form said 3pm onwards owner said 4pm. On a short break an hour makes a big difference. The owner met us on arrival and was extremely helpful and informative. She asked us to contact her if there were any difficulties or missing equipment. Not long after our arrival we noticed there no teapot, one arrived by the following day. The accommodation was great for a mixed family group like ours and we felt comfortable enough to make ourselves at home. The general consensus was that the online photos made the house appear less family orientated and of a much grander scale than in reality.

Good service. Great location but totally unsatisfactory cleanliness. Kitchen sink plug was filthy, outside area looked very uninviting, kitchen cupboards were full of other people’s left over cooking ingredients. It seemed as if someone was living there and had moved out temporarily for our stay....Owner said that she ’only buys the finest bed linen’, however mattresses seemed cheap and lumpy!

Good selection but very vague information on certain properties. Excellent location, warm family feel. Very accommodating owner. Would definitely recommend the property.
