"Set on 1 of 150 lakes in an area the size of Jersey the Cotswold’s lakes is one of the best kept secrets of Gloucestershire With so much to explore in the area and something for everyone you will need to add extra days to your holiday just to fit it all in. Wildlife activities great eateries walking history and culture are just some of the things you will find in range of Coot Lake House.\nThe house itself has been stylishly renovated to mirror its setting. Downstairs is fully open plan and flows out onto the private deck utilising those great lake views. Upstairs is a large master bedroom with the same stunning views over the lake two further bedrooms and a family bathroom. Extra care has been taken for families and you will find lots of special touches around the house if you are planning on taking the little ones.\nCoot Lake House can also be booked with Goosander and Ruddy Duck Lake House for larger groups as they are all within 200 yards of each other."

What you need to know

PROVISION OF BED LINEN & TOWELS: Bed linen and towels are provided. The beds will be made up ready for your arrival. A set of bath towels will be provided for each guest.

REFUSE: Bins and recycling bins are available on site about 100m (out the front door and turn right); please ensure that rubbish is emptied before you leave.

DEPARTURE PROCEDURE - Exit before 10.30am We ask you to vacate the House by 10.30 a.m. on the day of departure. We do ask guests to leave the House as found on arrival, i.e. clean, tidy and with all items stored as they were when you arrived. Of course, we do not want you to spend precious holiday time scrubbing baths or floors, but if you could ensure surfaces are wiped and dishes cleaned and returned to cupboards etc, it would be appreciated. For those who want to truly relax, we can sometimes arrange for an additional cleaner and offer a 'get up and go' service so you may leave dishes on the table, surfaces unwiped etc. This should be booked with a minimum of 72hrs in advance and will cost £25.

SMOKING & PETS: Please be aware that neither smoking nor pets are permitted in the Cottage.

WELCOME PACK: We provide guests with a welcome pack including milk, bread, butter, jam, a variety pack of cereal and a decent bottle of wine. Basics: We try to maintain stocks of essentials such as salt, pepper, tea, coffee, washing up liquid.

Wi-Fi: Free Fibre Optic Wi-Fi is provided at the Cottage. The access code is printed on the 'Important Bits' card next to the router to the left of the sofa: Wireless Network 5GHz-EE-c5s2ee Password diet-hug-eight

TELEVISION: There is free view television in the Cottage. There is also BBC iPlayer and Netflix available. The larger remote controls the television while the smaller remote controls the DVD player. To access BBC iPlayer and Netflix: Click 'Source' on the left side of the large remote. Go to HDMI 1. Using the small remote, go to the Premium option and BBC iPlayer and Netflix are located in the drop-down menu. To get back to the TV channels, click Source again on the large remote and chose Freeview TV.

SHOPPING: There is a local Spar 5 minutes drive from the Cottage in South Cerney. Tescos, and Waitrose are located in Cirencester, about a 10-minute drive away.

Set on 1 on the 150 Cotswold’s lakes. A few steps from your door you will find a small brasserie and on the lake itself try your hand at water skiing, wake boarding or ringo riding. Just over an hour on the train from London.

    We went as a group of friends to stay in Mulberry cottages and we absolutely loved it. The location is beautiful & the house just lovely. Everything there you need. We were well looked after and definitely recommend staying at Mulberry.
