"Dedham Cottage is a pretty cottage on a secluded farm with unrivalled facilities. A heated shared indoor swimming pool sauna and bubbling hot-tub all-weather tennis court children’s indoor play barn and a garden playground.\nPut your feet up and settle down with a good book in the comfortable farmhouse style living area. A wealth of exposed oak beams and the galleried bedroom overhead you won’t want to leave this cosy retreat. A welcome pack of fresh bread jams milk and biscuits are provided on arrival.\nPamper yourself at the beauty salon and top up with supplies at the cabin shop offering breakfast and snack items local products and ice creams. Tennis racquets games balls boules and croquet sets are also available to borrow. Make the most of exploring the woodland and landscaped grounds and help feed the hungry farm animals. Children will love to collect the eggs from the hens There is a fishing pond stocked with carp and rudd which you will need a rod licence for.\nWith all that’s going on you might forget what is on your doorstep. Lavenham and Long Melford stunning mediaeval villages are only 20 minute drive. Cycling and walking come highly recommended make sure you explore the rolling Suffolk countryside"

    Indoor heated swimming pool, shared sauna and hot tub open year round. To comply with local planning rules the local school use the pool during term time for a few hours in the afternoon. A timetable is displayed in the cottage.
     
    Please note: The shared pool is out of use for a couple of hours a day. Details will be provided on booking.

    What makes this area so special

    Nestled in the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the landscapes and lowlands were made famous by artists John Constable and Thomas Gainsborough. Visit Flatford Mill to see the instantly recognisable setting of the Haywain. The Angel Inn, in Stoke-by-Nayland is a lovely local pub. Bustling Sudbury is a quaint market town surrounded by gentle rolling farmland, pretty quintessential English villages, rivers and waterways.
