Here retro shops, quirky cafes and excellent fish restaurants abound let alone the fun of an old fashioned pier and a bandstand that is still used at weekends. Very nice property, easy to book, flexibility and swift answer when questions and changes, proactive suggestion to enhance the stay. Just a bit of confusion for the check-in.

It was an amazing house in a wonderful location, and we had a fantastic week for our 70th birthdays. The house was extremely well equipped and had absolutely everything you could want, including bunting and Chinese lanterns in the consersatory. The only issue we had was with the rubbish disposal. This was however quickly sorted for us, but it could have been avoided. Please access the first box.

I would definitely recommend Mulberry Cottages - I found the company very helpful and friendly. The property was excellent and we would use them again. Lovely old house with a beautiful garden. Well situated near the coast but with plenty to do in the house if weather not so good. The house was clean and very well stocked.

From booking to arrival , everything went smoothly. The deposit and balance were taken when expected and paperwork arrived in time. A query was deal with quickly and efficiently. Some updating required to accomodation details and directions to property. The house (and annexe) was perfect for our mature walking group. Mixture of double, twins, triples ideal with plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen was big enough for us to eat in and the verandah perfect for afternoon tea and watching the fox cubs play on the lawn. The exterior as you arrive looks tired but this is an old property and it is clear work is ongoing. Some updating required to vast amounts of crockery and annexe kitchen but overall clean and presentable. It is a pity the AGA has gone and, at the time of our visit, the replacement cooker was not fully working. The gardens were beautiful and the gardener very helpful. Plenty of parking. We left the cars and used the buses for the week. Very interesting part of Kent. Well worth joining English Heritage for Dover, Deal and Walmer Castles and Richborough Fort. Good shops in Deal. Property is ideal for group of friends or extended family.

Was prompt and they catered to everything they said. Sweet large house very close to London. Placed in a great town with many food choices and a relaxing atmosphere by the seaside. The House itself is very big and catered to 7 families very well. All that was promised was made available. Loads of dinner ware and cutlery, towels and sheets and good bathrooms. there were quite a few activities to keep the kids entertained in the house too Got some great photographs of the place and can imagine that it will only be better in summer. Would definitely recommend the place for get togethers.
