Excellent service. Friendly and efficient. The whole booking was simple and easy, all questions answered fully and all emails responded to quickly. Thank You. We had a family trip to Rye over the August bank holiday weekend and were delighted with our choice of Gulls Way cottage. Perfect location, excellent amenities, lovely design and a very thoughtful and kind welcome box from our ’landlord’. Highly recommend this very comfortable cottage. Perfect for exploring the town with a car park close by.

Email correspondence was efficient and we had all the info we needed in good time before we stayed at the cottage. Gulls Way is a lovely, quirky 2 bed room cottage. It’s higgledy piggledy around and over the shop. You need to be pretty able going up and down stairs as they’re tight and low head clearance at some points and the floors are sloping, all as you’d expect in a very old property in the centre of an ancient village. Despite its age we were very comfortable with good beds, sofas, shower and bathrooms of a good standard. Pubs and restaurants are on your doorstep. We had to use the town car parks which were fine other than market day. It was brilliant for us.

Lovely cottage in a very central, but brilliantly quiet, town centre location. Really good communications from the host. Couldn’t be better. Brilliant weekend and lovely base.

Yes I would recommend them for efficiency and flexibility and personal service Brilliant cottage but the key lockbox was very difficult to operate and the back door stuck badly

Efficient service - easy to contact by telephone. Knowledgeable about the property. Perfect for a short stay. A property with lots of character. Thoughtful touches such as board games, reading books, maps and local guides, plus wifi. Comfortable beds. Right in the centre of Rye with everything close at hand. We loved the view down the high street from the sitting room window! Small suggestions to improve the experience would be to provide an electric kettle, and to add blackout curtains in the lounge - the streetlight shines through at night if the sofa bed is being used. Also, although the bath in one bedroom is pretty, it might be more practical to change it to a shower cubicle, especially if two couples are staying.
