"This beautiful detached annex is a strictly no smoking property and is situated in a quiet village outside of Ashford. Finished and furnished to a very high standard throughout the property boasts stunning views across open fields and forests in the background The owner has two very friendly horses two dogs and two cats and even chickens on site and the setting is absolutely stunning.\nAlthough the property is in a secluded location there are countless destinations within easy reach by a short car journey. Pluckley famous for The Darling Buds of May and the most haunted village in Kent is a few minutes away as is the lively town of Ashford with its International Railway Station under 40 minutes to London and two hours to Paris. Ashford has numerous attractions including a 6-screen cinema ten pin bowling and recently renovated Stour Entertainment Centre. Here you will find a swimming pool “clip and climb” and a sports hall to name just a few. For those wanting a “retail fix” the McArthur Glen Outlet has over 70 designer stores offering up to 60 discounts on fashion brands. The historic City of Canterbury with its Cathedral and chic shops and eateries is less than half an hour by car.\nThe seaside towns of Hythe Folkestone or Dymchurch are all a short car journey away. The trip to the coast is a lovely drive with fabulous views along the way. There are many other historic attractions in the area including Dover Castle and the famous white cliffs. From here guests can enjoy a day trip to France on-board one of the regular ferry trips to Calais. This all year round property is a lovely base to explore all that Kent has to offer.\nThere is a shop and post office in the village just a few minutes away and the nearest pub is just 1½ miles along the lane. The property has some lovely country pubs and restaurants surrounding it with short travel times to get to them. We had an amazing stay at Hall Farm Cottage. The cottage was extremely cosy, spotless and well equipped with everything we needed including stunning views from our garden. Our hosts were wonderful hosts ( we have stayed in over 30 cottages and were the best hosts we have ever had ). Only a 10 minute drive to Ashford abundant with restaurants, pubs and shops. No more than 30 mins to the coast where we visited on several occasions to sample exquisite seafood. Our hosts gave us great advice on the best places to visit so we truly made the most of our stay. Truly lovely holiday overall and would highly recommend.

An outstanding property. Clearly comfort was the key ingredient but it was mixed with quality and style throughout. Every thought had been given to making this a wonderful place to stay and the added touch of the warm welcome and the basket of treats made this a memorable stay.

The Annex is beautifully presented and equipped to a very high standard. It is extremely comfortable and has very efficient heating (which can be controlled to suit), essential with an Autumn/Winter break. The location is very peaceful and has views over the fields, with birdsong outside the window and at night good dark skies to look at the stars. A warm welcome from the hosts was much appreciated and a basket of goodies plus essentials in the fridge were much appreciated. I found it a very relaxing 'retreat', as a base for visiting relatives in the area and also to visit two outstanding gardens: Sissinghurst (National Trust) and Great Dixter (at Northiam) both about a half hour drive from the property. I would definitely return. Highly recommended.

The Annexe with it's quiet beautiful surroundings and views, the warm and helpful welcome from the owners, the informative folder, the generous welcome basket and all the little extras made it a lovely, memorable holiday. It was our first time visiting Kent and its location was ideal for visiting lots of places in Kent and East Sussex. The comfortable accomodation was a place to relax and reflect in after the many enjoyable trips out and about.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hall Farm Annex. The Welcome Pack was amazing and included home made jam and the neighbours honey. The accommodation was immaculate, well thought out and catered for our every need. Whilst we were there we had three lovely hot and sunny days, so Mike even brought over a fan for us. It was very peaceful and quiet and the stars in the evening were so bright. Would definitely stay again.
