Owner and Mulberry cottage excellent people to deal with. Simple, concise and prompt communications. If you want a period house, immaculately renovated and fitted in ’Old Town’ Margate, look no further. Surpassed the pics and description. Cheers

Having used various companies over the years, we were very impressed with Mulberry Cottages - great communication, professional staff, answered our queries promptly, and totally put us at ease...will definitely be booking again soon! We were a bit nervous that the photos we saw of the property would not measure up - a needless worry! We had a fantastic Christmas break in Harbour House. The fixtures and fittings were of a high standard and quality, and totally catered for our needs. We loved having a log fire in the evening, and a space to chill in. We were a group of four adults and five children and this spacious property gave us ample room. The games room was a big hit, and enjoyed by all. I managed to cook a Christmas dinner in the aga style oven, and there was plenty of room for us to all eat together. The location was great for us, close to shops, local pubs and the beach - and we have to admit to falling in love with Margate. Parking may be an issue, particularly in height of season, but we managed to get two spaces in front of harbour house for our stay. There are lots of stairs in Harbour house, which are great for exercising lively young children, but care would be needed for little ones. With this in mind, maybe the owners could consider providing a baby gate, so that little ones could be contained within lounge, for example, without the need to keep the door shut? Overall, we all had an amazing time and would love to go back in the future.
