Introduction

"Hoad Farm Cottages comprising of Tulip Cottage Olive Tree Cottage and Wisteria Cottage are located within Hoad Farm which dates back to the 13th century. Surrounded by formal gardens and a children’s play area it offers a real getaway from the usual hustle and bustle. Despite its peaceful location the cottages are perfectly located for easy access to Kent’s vibrant cities and coastal towns and offers a ’home from home’ experience for guests with everything you need for your countryside escape.\nThe spacious open plan living area in all the cottages is comfortable and sociable and both have french doors opening out onto a shared courtyard with garden furniture and parasols.\nAll the cottages have two light and spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms and also open out onto the courtyard. The cottages are on one level with wide doors so ideal for people with restricted mobility.\nThe grounds are lovely for strolling around and include an enclosed pond and a children’s play area with climbing frame slide swing and trampoline.\nThe cottages are set high on the Kent downs and are surrounded by farm land and lovely views."

    There is an enclosed deep pond in the grounds, please ensure children are supervised at all times.

    Please note there is another property adjacent to Hoad Farm Cottages which is permanently occupied and the owner lives onsite in the neighbouring farmhouse.

    Please note that other people live in the courtyard area so you do not have exclusive use.

    A security deposit of £750 is required at this property. This will be collected automatically 7 days prior to arrival and refunded (unless a damage claim is received) 7 days after the end of your stay. Please note that your refunded security deposit will take 3-5 days to appear in your account. For your convenience, we’ll take this payment from the last card used to make payment to us. If you would prefer to use a different method of payment, please let us know before the security deposit is due.

    What makes this area so special

    Acrise is a small parish just a short drive from Canterbury, Folkestone, Ashford and Dover. The local area offers a wealth of wonderful walks. The nearby Port Lympne nature reserve is a great day out, and the coastal towns of Folkestone, Hythe, Sandgate and Dover are all within an easy drive by car.
