The pretty rural landscapes of the Waveney Valley of South Norfolk can be enjoyed on foot or by bicycle from the edge of the grounds. The hall is self-catering but for a truly relaxing stay catering is available from traditional home style food to fine dining.\nA grand staircase leads you to the spacious bedrooms which are superbly lit by natural light thrown through the large original sash and bay windows. Tall ceilings adorned by chandeliers beautifully decorated and furnished bedrooms with period furniture and brand new king size beds.\nEn-suite bathrooms in all four bedrooms give guests a great deal of privacy. Hot Tub can be booked for your stay for either the weekend or the week, please indicate at the point of booking if you’d like this option. For 1-3 nights the additional cost is £300 for 4-7 nights the additional cost is £360. (Please note different prices apply for Christmas and New Year Hire).
Central heating - Bio-mass boiler. Please note the fireplaces are purely decorative to meet fire regulations and for insurance purposes.

House sits in public gardens ’Bressingham Gardens’. Highly acclaimed and renowned gardens are regularly featured on TV, radio and in magazines. Guests are granted access to these public gardens.
Private, enclosed garden attached to house. Terrace for outside dining, ornamental fish pond, lawn and beds, outside furniture. A hot tub can be booked and installed in this area at an additional charge if needed.
Garden games including badminton, boules and croquet.
Parking is available to the rear of the property for up to 5 vehicles, plus additional parking available.
Guests may unload at the front of the property and move their vehicles after.
There is a converted 18th Century barn and marquee situated to the rear of the property, approximately 50 metres, which can be hired for weddings, celebrations and parties. However, the barn is not hired out when the Hall is independently occupied.

  • What you need to know

    A security deposit of £500 is required at this property. This will be collected automatically 7 days prior to arrival and refunded (unless a damage claim is received) 7 days after the end of your stay. Please note that your refunded security deposit will take 3-5 days to appear in your account. For your convenience, we’ll take this payment from the last card used to make payment to us. If you would prefer to use a different method of payment, please let us know before the security deposit is due.

    Cot and highchair available, guests to bring their own cot bed linen.

    Catering can be arranged, from traditional home-style cooking to fine dining, dinner party style. Please ask for the menus and prices on booking.
    The private garden has an ornamental fish pond so please keep children supervised at all times. The public gardens has a free-form natural pond, again unfenced.

    There is a narrow-gauge steam railway which winds its way along the edge of the public garden. Care should be taken if crossing the line.
    There is a public garden centre, steam museum and Dads Army (famous BBC 70s TV show) museum next door to the grounds of the house. (Please note: the gardens are open from 28 March to the end of October, daily from 10.30am to 5.00pm).

    Hot tub can be booked for your stay for either 3 or 7 nights, please contact us at the point of booking if you'd like this option. Please note there is an additonal charge for the Hot Tub.

    Your property will be ready for you to check-in from 4pm on the day of arrival and you will need to check-out by 10am on the day of departure.

    Please note towels and linen are provided at this property.

    Up to 2 Pets on request and payment of a small extra fee.

    Facilities include 'open fire',  but cannot be used as it is decorative only.

    What makes this area so special

    Enjoy the 12 acres of Bressingham Gardens all year round (closed to the public from November - February). Nearby Diss is worth a visit and further afield are the pretty Suffolk market towns of Attleborough and Wymondham with independent shopping, a 900 year old abbey and nice cafes and pubs.
