Jump in the car and within twenty minutes you will find the historic towns of Gloucester where parts of Harry Potter films were made in the imposing Gloucester Cathedral and also the chic spa town of Cheltenham with it’s shopping restaurants and bar scene.\nLeonard Barn makes a great change of pace for an idyllic break in the countryside. no complaints - easy to book, all as described, friendly welcome (including a cake!) Lovely little cottage (shame it rained pretty much constantly, but I can’t hold that against the place). Lovely big kitchen/diner, well equipped, and all clean and tidy. Recommended! I read other reviews that said the velux blind in the larger bedroom doesn’t really block out much light - it’s true! (but we were there in November, so it wasn’t really a problem)
