Knepp Castle allows you to encounter the well-publicised Stork project recently reintroduced here after 400 years Exmoor ponies long horn cattle red deer and Tamworth pigs as they roam freely in its 3500 acres driving the forces of habitat regeneration. On Knepp Castle Aspect Polo Club is run by Sarah Wiseman one of our top British female polo players who organises polo tournaments throughout the summer and offers private Polo lessons. All this wonder is accessed directly from little Acorns private location. As you approach little Acorns you pass the owners stables.\nThe double doors of the main reception area open into the private front garden with a comfy corner sofa. The living area is a nice size with a beamed vaulted ceiling to give you that ultimate inside space. The kitchen is well equipped and is positioned in one of the corners of the large living room with a bathroom opposite. The bedroom is to the right and again is a good size.\nLittle Acorns is found in the village of Dial Post which is in the Horsham District of West Sussex. Today the castle on Knepp Estate is a private residence for Sir Charles Burrell and his family although originally Knepp was a motte castle founded in the 12th century by William de Braose. Rebuilt as a stone castle with a two-storey keep in 1214 by King John the remains of this medieval castle manly destroyed by the 1720s can be seen between Dial Post and Southwater by the A24. Little Acorns is a unique base you can call home when you return from a day out in Sussex as this property is very close to Brighton Arundel and Lewes which are rich with independent shops and historic sites. Cowdray Park Polo Club is also nearby which hosts the famous Gold Cup. The Gold Cup is played to decide the British Open Polo Championship and is the premier polo tournament in the world at 22 goal High Goal level and visitors from all over the world attend this special event. If you want to stay closer to home you can walk to the village pub or the pub in Shipley both offering exceptional food and hospitality."
