It is a fabulous comfortable family home full of quirky original features and some uneven floors which all add to the charm and sense of history. The house is a lovely holiday home perfect for holidays and short breaks all year round.\nThe ground floor has a traditional large farmhouse kitchen a comfortable sitting room with wood burner and a lovely large dining room which has a snooker table and piano french doors leading to the patio and one-acre garden surrounded by mature trees and woodland. Upstairs set over two floors are six bedrooms two with en-suites and two separate bathrooms.\nThe house has everything you will need for a fabulous holiday - there are books galore DVDs Wii games snooker the piano for family sing-a-longs board games and garden games. You won’t want to leave\nThe farmhouse is located in the small hamlet of Little Mongeham pronounced munjam and is a short drive to Deal which is a really vibrant seaside town. It has a long pier a long stretch of beach a pretty conservation area with lovely independent shops and great restaurants and cafes. Sandwich is also a short drive full of history and charm and home to two championship golf courses.\nThe surrounding countryside is ideal for walkers and cyclists and the White Cliffs Trail passes by the farmhouse. This 28 mile circular walk passes through the towns of Dover Deal and Sandwich going along the famous ’white cliffs’ to the east of Dover to Deal with an inland return through the beautiful Kent countryside."

What you need to know
A security deposit of £500 is required at this property. This will be collected automatically 7 days prior to arrival and refunded (unless a damage claim is received) 7 days after the end of your stay. Please note that your refunded security deposit will take 3-5 days to appear in your account. For your convenience, we’ll take this payment from the last card used to make payment to us. If you would prefer to use a different method of payment, please let us know before the security deposit is due. Please contact cottages.com and not the owner for the security deposit. The owner does not hold the deposit.
Pet friendly. The smaller garden is enclosed and ideal for dogs but please check that it is secure for your dog, we know that some dogs are escape artists!
Parking on the private driveway for up to six cars.
Manor Farmhouse sits alongside a working farm with farm buildings and farm machinery. The main garden is not enclosed, with access to the road, farmyard and woods, so young children and dogs will need to be supervised and not allowed to enter the farm or surrounding woods.
Please note you will need to bring your BBC iPlayer/ITV/Netflix/Amazon Prime sign in details because the tv is not connected to terrestrial signal, but is connected to WIFI due to location.
