About Marine Parade

"\\To get under the skin of its seaside charm book a period cottage. Marine Parade is a real find and one of Mulberry Cottages’ gems. A beautiful four-story Regency house it is teaming with original features and tons of character. Antique furniture and quirky antiquities are dotted everywhere.\\ - Forbes Magazine August 2017\nEnjoy the fresh sea air as you arrive in Hythe. Take a few steps up to your new home for a well earned break or holiday.\nOnce you enter your sight will be drawn through to the traditional dining room through the garden windows to the promenade and the beach. You will hear the waves breaking on the shore you are at the seaside\nThe house offers fine views from both sides out to see Dungeness and the coast-line of Romney Marsh frame one aspect. Occasionally France can be glimpsed in the distance. Often the sea is alive with small craft. On the landward side across the cricket ground there are views of the old Cinque Port town of Hythe with the 11th century Church of St Leonards.\nAsian influences and traditional English antiquities add substance and intrigue throughout the house and you can see much of the owners’ attention to detail in providing an atmospheric home for families and others to enjoy.\nMarine Parade with its four floors gives you that feeling of space wherever you are in the house. We invite you to explore finding bedrooms and bathrooms at almost every level. The lower floor offers a games room for children and others to enjoy with ping pong and board games. It is the perfect play den to keep children amused for hours while adults can watch the boats pass by from the living room balcony with binoculars in hand or relax with a book from the well-stocked library.\nFor those of you who can be pulled away during your stay a short stroll down the landscaped tree-lined Ladies Walk will take you to the Royal Military Canal and into the picturesque High Street and to the town’s choice of shops and supermarkets. What makes this area so special

Hythe in Kent is one of the five original Cinque Ports (pronounced sink, as in Norman French) on the "Garden Coast" in South Kent. A wide promenade overlooks a long stretch of beach, and over the English Channel to France and it is ideal for a summer picnic and safe bathing. Hythe has a large choice of cafes and restaurants to choose from, but nothing beats fish and chips by the beach, fresh from the harbour, washed down with some bubbly

The booking was quite easy, I booked by phone, it would have better if all info was given, so not to get unpleasant surprises when email confirmation is sent. Had a wonderful time, house was amazing so beautifully furnished we loved it all, so comfortable.

They are slow to come back and a little officious The house has a great location. We found it smaller than expected. It would not be suitable for 10 adults. Our 18 months old Grandaughter didn’t have a bed. The twin bedded room on the first floor was very cold, I don’t think radiator covers help.

The house was in the perfect location for our needs and was extremely well equipped, comfortable and attractive. The list of instructions for everything from how to use the white goods to health and safety was the most compressive I have encountered on any site. We also received thoughtful and helpful feedback from the owner.

Excellent customer service, I have already recommended mulberry holiday cottages to my friends. We had a wonderful time at this fabulous property. It was like a REAL HOME, from the very tasteful decor to the comfy beds adorned with sumptuous bedding, to the extra touches of a bottle of proseco to help our party get underway. Even though the weather was not good during our stay, this did not stop us having the most memorable weekend we have ever had at a holiday rental property. We really did not want our stay to end. I can only imagine, that when the sun shines through the large windows, and the doors are flung open onto the sea views one might think they were in heaven. ! THANKYOU, we will definatly be back.
