Introduction

"As you drive along the country lanes and up the long private drive flanked by pines and ferns feel the bustle of life ebb away. Set in a glade shared with the main farm house next door put your bags down and enjoy making some plans to explore this beautiful part of Sussex.\nMedley’s Court is a combination of Medley’s Barn and The Tea Hut and is a fantastic Sussex holiday let near Crowborough. With wonderful beams and interesting features Medley’s Barn really is a charming place to get away from the rush of everyday life The kitchen has plenty of room for creating delicious holiday meals with a generous rustic wooden table seating up to 8 people. Medley’s Barn has a modern shower room on the ground floor and a Victorian style bathroom on the first floor between the two bedrooms. Added to this there is a well-kept hard tennis court next door for enthusiasts to use with prior arrangement from the neighbouring owner which just adds to the fun\nJust across the courtyard from Medley’s Barn The Tea Hut has an open plan design with kitchen dining sitting and king-size bed areas. It also has a separate shower room with large shower. In the longer winter evenings you can put your feet up next to the cosy log burner and take advantage of the electric underfloor heating to keep you toasty and warm.\nOutside there is a paved terrace areas with a table and seating for 4 with steps up to the tennis court. There is a grassed area and open gardens that leads to the beautiful surrounding woodlands there is a small pond that is not fenced so please take care with small children."

Bedroom (sleeps 2) King sized raised bespoke wooden 6ft with under bed storage. This is higher than a normal bed and is accessed by 3 steps and may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.

Plenty of outdoor pursuits such as golf, horse riding and clay pigeon shooting are all available locally. For those who love opera, Glyndebourne is a short drive away. Also the busy quirky market town of Lewes is well worth a visit.

    Excellent customer service. Very flexible and helpful. Wonderful location and house and owners were really helpful. Walks from the door, a tennis court and a great pub in reasonable walking distance. What more can you ask. The 6 of us would like to return in the summer.
