Very good. Directions to the property good have been a little more clear but everything else was OK Very picturesque and in a very convenient and in a congenial position. The drawback, if it is one, is the staircase which is steep and narrow. Otherwise the cottage provides exactly what is offered and we would stay there agin

The cottage is a beautiful building however it appears to have not had any real TLC for 20+ years, we were given a pillowslip with the owners name and ‘95 written on it. We loved having our breakfast in the garden which is beautifully maintained, similar care for the cottage interior would make this an amazing place. It didn’t feel clean and this isn’t a comment related to cobwebs! I don’t mind cobwebs but I do mind stained sofas and a general sense of neglect.

Lovely little quiet cottage. Helen is a wonderful host and will go out of her way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Second time we have stayed here and I’m sure we’ll be back!

Good that they provide most information on cottage on website and first confirmation email provided all I needed to know about when next payments were to be taken. They responded very quickly when i sent an email with an enquiry. Could have done with a second confirmation email that the second installment of the overall balance had been taken from my bank account. It was a really lovely cottage and, as we went at Christmas, the owners provided a real Christmas tree, which was a lovely touch. We loved the village and walking around the local area. Plus it’s really easy to get to Canterbury by train. The only downside was that the walls are a bit thin so you can hear the neighbours talking (and they could probably hear us too).

The service was ok , the only minor fault was that we never got the cottage information when we made the final payment . This was put right when I phoned & we received the paperwork by first class post within two day’s . The cottage was good , looked good & was as we expected . My wife found there was not enough room to put food shopping away so most of it was on the work tops . The only other thing we found was that the beds where very noisy when we moved or turned over , it sounded like they where made of straw . We did appreciate the tea , coffee , milk & biscuits plus the vase of garden flowers that where there on our arrival .

Only problem was that emails did not reach me but when I informed the office they were very helpful. Beautiful area, comfortable accommodation only slightly negative experience was the mattresses which although comfortable were noisy! Apart from that we really enjoyed our stay. Very good area to explore locally and plenty of places to visit.
