What makes this area so special
Nagden House is situated on the Saxon Shore Way, so walkers and foragers can head straight out from the front door (no dog leads required here for four legged guests), and enjoy trailing along the creek, across the fields to the sea shore, or through the local woods and fields. A short creekside walk takes you into historic Faversham, past the shipwreck and through Iron Wharf Boatyard to the newly refurbished Standard Quay, where a fantastic fishmonger (stocking the famous local Whitstable oysters at a great price), butcher, spice shop, grocer and varied antiques shops await. A short further walk takes you into Faversham itself, with its famous vibrant market, specialist wine shops, coffee shops, restaurants, many more antique shops, as well as a great selection of pubs, all well-served by the oldest brewery in Britain, Faversham-based Shepherd Neame. Alternatively, fitness enthusiasts can run along the creek to the CrossFit box in Standard Quay. Located only 10 minutes off of the M2, an hour from London, as well as 20 minutes from the popular Whitstable and Canterbury, and within easy reach of the Channel.
