This is the perfect spot to explore the wonderful mediaeval city of Salisbury with the cathedral and close only a 5 minutes walk away. Meander through the water meadows to see the view made famous by Constable or just relax and enjoy a drink by the river. You could attend choral evening song at Salisbury Cathedral enjoying the singing of one of its three choirs or walk from Salisbury to the Roman fort of Old Sarum via the path along the river and enjoy the magnificent views from the outer bailey. Take part in guided tours and visits around the historic city or visit the World Heritage site of Stonehenge which is just a 20 minute drive from Salisbury.

    Communication was less effective than with the owner - inevitably a problem with a third party. The house was even more beautiful than the pictures suggested, a total gem, and perfectly located for cathedral services and the city centre. We loved it and would happily return.
