They were ok, took a bit of time getting back to me about an enquiry But very good once chatting to some one personally It had all the elements for a good stay, except it really needed a good clean and sprus up The bathrooms were very clean in the actual bath and shower and hand basins , walls etc and bath mats really needed a good clean . Towels were very good The table cloth down stairs also needed a good bleach I am not talking about dust or dead flys/ insects etc as they are a given in older houses . It was an excellent location and a fabulous view out the back that made the stay enjoyable .

Friendly and helpful House is okay, views spectacular, beds comfortable, but the general (lack of) cleanliness let it down; dirty, greasy cutlery etc.; broken/chipped crockery and glasses. The sofas should have long been dumped as they are long passed their used by date. The sofa in front of the fire is a "camp bed/sofa" and extremely uncomfortable. Sorry to weigh the viewing; but recently saw the same offer and looks like nothing has changed even though I mentioned it to the gentlemen owner.

We had a lovely stay and the property was delightful. Fantastic location, facilities, garden, views, etc. One issue; my wife has allergies to cat and dog hair which was triggered by a cat we think? This brought on an asethmatic reaction. No harm done, it got us out the house! But would have been good to know about the owners animals Through the booking process. Regards
