The information provided was complete and timely. When we called just a week before going to explain that our sons would be joining us, this was not a problem. Although I had explicitly searched (on HomeWay.co.uk) for properties that allowed pets, it was not clear how to add a pet to the booking. When we mentioned to Mulberry about the dog, this was also not a problem and we were easily able to pay the extra for the dog. In general, the house is very nice, with plenty of room for four adults, clean and well maintained. The location is ideal if Whitstable is your only destination, being just a couple of minutes walk from the town centre. However, if you intend to use Whitstable as a base to explore the area, be aware that the on street parking is extremely difficult. As the street parking is unrestricted, and being so close to the town centre, it gets used by people wanting to go into town, but not pay for a car park. On the few occasions we used the car I was unable to find a place to park on the street and ended parking several street away. Considering how well maintained the house is, it was most disappointing to find the bed in the double room to have been inexpertly repaired and exceedingly uncomfortable. So much so that I had to go to B&Q for wood a tools to make better repairs myself. I would strongly recommend that this bed is replaced. It doesn’t matter how nice the rest of the house is if the bed is so uncomfortable that you can’t get a good night’s sleep.

A lovely house, cosy sitting room opens up to a lovely kitchen/diner/ conservatory at rear. Great outside space as well, we made full use of the bi-fold doors that open up to the nice private garden. Beautifully decorated throughout, with lots of little quirky pieces. Situated in a quiet road and a 5 minute walk to the High Street and seafront. Everywhere in Whitstable is expensive in August, but you certainly get a lovely house for your money

Good communications. We couldn’t get hold of the cleaner, and mulberry answered very quickly and helped us promptly. Would use again. Excellent location off the high street in a quiet road. Flat was clean and nicely furnished, with a lovely garden and picnic table (although it was raining when we were there). Nice little kitchen. We enjoyed the little pieces of local art and craft around the house. The beds had lots of different sized pillows which is great as pillows aren’t one size fits all! The only two negatives were the mattresses, which weren’t up to the standard of the rest of the flat; also the windows rattled a bit in the wind, disturbing our first night a bit, but nothing a folded up card wouldn’t fix.
